Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Christmas Dresses

Madison got so many complements on her Christmas dresses this month at church that I had to post them. She looks so festive in them and I love how they sway when she walks. Adorable!

Happy Happy Birthday to Madison!!

December 18, 2006 was a happy day in our lives. Our little girl was born and here we are a year later celebrating her 1st birthday. This year has been so rewarding being parents and watching Madison hit all of her milestones. We love you Madison!!

I blew these up the night before and in the morning when she woke up she went right for them!

This is the one picture I got of her with her hat on. It looked so cute but she refused to keep it on. Her dress was adorable, you can't really see but it says Birthday Girl on it.

Another milestone mark... turning around the carseat! I think I was more excited about it because now I can see her. Very exciting.

Getting ready for the party! We had a few friends over to celebrate... pizza, games, presents, prizes, cake and ice cream, bubbles... to say the least we had a good time!

This was one of the games, to guess how many cheerios. 2700 of them and yes Jordan and I counted them all! The other game was a lot of fun as well. I had 14 pictures of every month of her life starting with when I was pregnant to a birthday pic I took yesterday. They were all mixed up and everyone had to put them in order month by month.

And here are our winners! We had a 4 way tie on the second game (Jordan included!).

Maddie had a great time pulling out the tissue of all the presents and seeing what was inside. Thanks everyone for all of the gifts!

Cake Time! Maddie had one lick of the frosting and dug into her piece of the cake. It was the first time she had sugar and she loved it!

Trail of Lights

Tonight, well last night... it's pretty late, we went to the Trail of Lights which is in Zilker Park downtown where hundreds of trees are lit up by different sponsors. It is about a mile walk and you get to see all of the beautiful lights and set ups, I love it! We were joking about it last year because I was a week away of having Madison and I was much slower then! Always a good time with the James'!

I have to give a shout out to my little sis' Brandy because she just got her acceptance letter to BYU!!! I am so proud of her and know she will do great. Congratulations Brands!

Ho, Ho, Ho

Last night we went to the mall to go see Santa! Jordan and I had it all planned out, knowing that Madison was just going to cry, to get the photographer to start snapping pictures as soon as he sat Maddie down on Santa's lap. But to our surprise Madison just stared at him! It was so funny, I don't know if it was the beard, the outfit, hat maybe, who knows. She did great though!

Jordan, Madison and I made a trip down into Hollywood to do some shopping and Jordan thought he had a great idea in H&M with this snow bear outfit. I think the face says it all on how Maddie feels about it. Pretty cute huh?

I had to go see Sarah Jessica Parker's line, Bitten, in Steve and Barry's. Cute stuff and great prices!

Madison and I decided to get off the plane on a lay over in Vegas unexpectedly, to spend the week with my family. No luggage... nothing, just a diaper bag and a stroller and we were off! Thanks Mom and Dad for everything!

California...Here We Come!!!

We are off to California for a wonderful Thanksgiving break. We are spending it with Jordan's family and are so excited to see everyone! Mmmm, I can already taste dinner. Happy Thanksgiving!

Rock & Roll

This weekend we had a lot of fun with our friends, Matt and Melinda, rockin' out on Guitar Hero. It is quite addicting but always a good time as you can see!

One Room Down...

I finally finished painting my kitchen, yea!! This is a very new experience for me but I really enjoyed it. It looks alot brighter than it really is but I love the color, it makes my kitchen feel alot warmer. I am looking for curtains now which will complete it! Now onto my bedroom and bathroom!

Madison

A little update on Madison... 11 months old (on the 18th), 22 pounds, 3 teeth, hair just now growing in, loves food, sleeping through the night and has been since 3 months old!, walking everywhere, loves books, and is the cutest thing ever! It's true there is no other kind of love than the kind of love for your own child.

Somersault Time!!

Last night we were hanging out on our bed playing with Madison and she started getting up on her hands and feet, like she usually does to stand up, but then she would tuck her head down between her shoulders like she was going to do a somersault. So cute... she just kept doing it over and over and Jordan would flip her each time while I video'd it. We just thought it was hilarious!

Our New Home

There are so many things I want to post, but this is what has been taking up alot of my time...our new house! We have been in it for about 2 1/2 months now and it has been so much fun. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an office, and a big backyard for Maddie to play in. I am in the process of painting my kitchen right now and I think it is going to look great. I am one of those people that want things done right now, like I would love my house to be done as far as decorating, curtains, things on the wall...ect. ( I could go on and on) but one thing at time. That is what I keep telling my bank account at least!!
