Maddie Updates

I thought I would update on Madison since she just turned 18 months, the big 1 1/2! It never seems to amaze me how much bigger she keeps getting! She had her well check last week and she is 26 pounds and 34 3/4 in long. Still attaining that 75%! Maddie has a full vocabulary and learning new words everyday. She knows all of her body parts and animal sounds, is great at stacking blocks, and doing puzzles. She is just a very happy, BUSY toddler that keeps us on our feet! As you can tell she loves the water. She is a little fish with no fear of the water. This summer has already been so fun going to the pool. Next week we start "mommy and me" swim lessons that I am so excited for. I think she will do great. My big excitement is that she gets to go into nursery! Yay! We have taken her a couple of times but she just cries and cries when we leave, so hopefully it won't be a long transition and we will get to listen to some lessons...finally!

Our little fish!

This is on Lake Mead while we were in Vegas. She takes her job very serious!

Potty Time! Yeah I know she is still a little young but why not get acquainted, right?

We got this dress for her while we were in Mexico and it looked so cute on her.

I have been meaning to post on this for a while now. Dora the Explorer is like candy to this little girl. She absolutely loves Dora...and Boots...and Swiper...and Backpack...everything about it! I have to limit her already on the TV because if she could, she would sit and watch Dora all day long without moving! She gets mad when we turn on the tv and watch something else or she will bring the remote to us and say Dowa, Dowa, Dowa! It is hilarious. Thank goodness for Dowa!!

We're Back!

Whew! It's been a long break from blogging and we have a lot of catching up to do, so sorry about the mass amount of pictures!

Well Jordan and I started our summer vacation a little early this year. If you remember a past post I mentioned Jordan had won a trip to Cancun and it happened to be last week! What an amazing trip Dell put on for us, it was absolutely fabulous! To back up a little I left with little Maddie on the 3rd and stayed until the 8th, leaving Maddie in Vegas (thanks again Mom, Dad and Brandy!), and I met Jordan in Cancun. We extended our vacation 3 days early before we met up with the Dell crew in Playa del Carmen. Jordan and I just relaxed on the beautiful beaches of Cancun and soaked up the sun. How relaxing right? I loved it! It was great, then on that Wednesday we met up with 220 people that were all apart of the Dell vacation. We stayed at a gorgeous resort that was so big they had golf carts to take you around the grounds, to the beach, pool or really wherever you needed to go or they had bikes all around to take a little bike ride if you wanted! It was awesome, we definately took advantage of those. There were dinners almost every night, gifts in our room every night, we got to go on two excursions; a zipline that was awesome and a tour of Tulum, which are Mayan ruins, along with Xel-ha which is a huge snorkling area. Dell really spoiled us, it was an amazing trip and it was even better being able to have Jordan 24/7 for 8 days right by my side! It is a vacation we will always remember and I am really crossing my fingers for Jordan to win it next year!
