On the bunny hill lift. See I'm still smiling at least!

And last but so not least, after 5 years of asking, Jordan spoiled me by getting my other band to my ring. No joke, I have been asking for this thing since the first holiday after our wedding and Jordan always told me, "On our 5th anniversary, you have to wait until then." He did stick to his word and I absolutely love it.
I would say Jordan and I have been through alot these past 5 years, and I wouldn't have wanted to go through any of it without him. Jordan has been a wonderful, ideal husband to me. To KNOW that he loves me is something I could never trade for anything. Happy Anniversary Babe.

Officially a Texan in his new Longhorn hat!

Jordan would dress the same as Drake everyday if he could but unfortunately there aren't too many clothes out there that come in both of their sizes EXCEPT for these adorable matching Daddy and Son ties he got for Christmas. Jordan was so excited about these and every Sunday they look so cute together!

See how cute!
About an hour into unwrapping presents Drake was ready for a nap but he had alot of great things to wake up to! The rest of the day was filled with eating leftovers, watching new movies, playing such a fun game my Grandma came up with, with just the girls (which by the way Grandma, I think that definitely has to be tradition from now on!) and just spending time together! Thankyou, Thankyou Mom, Dad and Grandma for such a wonderful Christmas!
Last minute wrapping was going on... all except for the presents! Aunt Brittney had fun adding a little decoration to Drake, who didn't mind it in the least!
Nope not at all.
Of course we had to hit up In-N-out a couple of times while we were there, why not on Christmas Eve? Then off to see Santa.
Drake didn't really know what to think of this old guy with huge glasses and fuzzy stuff hanging off of his face. He was curious for the first couple of minutes then kind of got nervous. Worthwhile?...Of course we had to document seeing Santa for the first time....the $14.95 for a 5x7....not so sure about that!
Drake loved the attention he got from his cute Aunt's!
On to Christmas Eve dinner! The menu is the same every year, fillet mignon and shrimp scampi with 20 other sides to go along with it, always super delicious and always way to much food!
Grandma B. and I with our tummies full!
Mom setting out Christmas Eve presents. As tradition we always get to open our Christmas pj's and Christmas books.
Pj's First!
I have loved this tradition as well, getting a Christmas book every year. We have been doing this for as long as I can remember and we now have a whole collection of Christmas books which will so fun to share with our children as they grow up.
After

After lunch we got some "Happy Birthday" balloons and took them to Maddie and spent some time at the cemetary.

It's still hard only being able to take her balloons but this year was better than last. Family helps to have around as well as great friends and family members who never forget.
Drake and Daddy had some fun while we were there! I love the expressions on their faces, such happiness.

Love this picture
As tradition we went to the downsized Trail of Lights that night with all of our friends. It didn't compare in the least with the real Trail of Lights but it was still great to go out in the cold, eating the delicious kettle corn and feel Christmas in the air! So I was excited my Mom could come again and bring along my Dad this year. Here are the twinners in their hats!

My cute parents
The boys and...
The girls and...
Finally the kiddo's!
(to bad we didn't get a group shot, what were we thinking?!)
Along with the tradition of going to the Trail of Lights every year we always go to to this quaint little cafe shop with the James' and get hot chocolate, apple cider, and some kind of treat. For 4 years we have done this and it is always a highlight of the night!
We did make a cupcake cake in honor of Maddie again this year but unfortunately forgot to take a picture, shame on me. But all in all it was a good day. A good uplifting day to remember our little girl on her 3rd birthday.
