Silly Maddie

I got a kick out of this! This morning I was reading a magazine on the couch minding my own buisness while "I thought" Maddie was just reading books on the side of the couch where I couldn't see her. I even thought to myself, "Wow she is playing really well by herself" since it had been about 20 minutes of undisturbed silence. So I look over my shoulder, since it got quiet, and she had a pile of clothes on her lap, that were by her door to be put away, and her shorts on her head like a bakers hat! I started laughing and tried to discreetly get my camera but she moved before I could get a shot of her sitting there but I think these are just as good. She left the shorts on for a while and I could tell by the smile on her face she thought she was pretty clever. I love this age.

Round Rock Express

Friday night we went to the Round Rock Express baseball game with a couple of our friends and had a great time. The girls did alot of talking while the guys watched the game and played with the kiddos...it was great! :)

To bad I look like I am 12 here, excuse the uncontrollable fro. These are a couple of my great girlfriends, Brandilyn and Alyse.

The hubby's and kids.

Every friday after the game the set off a ton of fireworks and Maddie was glued even though it was 2 hours after her bedtime.

Weekend Fun!

We had a lot of fun this weekend, especially on friday, Jordan's day off. We had beautiful weather and so we were outside most of the time. We got Maddie this fun little pool and decided to try it out. Like I said it was really warm outside but hose water was freezing! Maddie didn't care though she loved it. We are paying for it now because she has a little cold. It was so much fun seeing her laugh and get excited about going down the slide. I can tell we have a water baby on our hands!
Maddie loved skateboarding with daddy, she couldn't get enough of it.

She is getting so big! I can't believe it.

Weeeeee! Maddie would wait until we said 1,2,3 GO before she would go down.

I have to give a little shout out to Jordan because if you notice in the background we have a beautiful cut lawn he did that morning.

Look at those pudgy arms and that cute smile, just adorable!

A Little Surprise...

No pictures for this post but I am still debating on whether to post the video of this inevitable experience we had last night. So dinner was over, Jordan was finishing cleaning up Maddie while I started the water for Maddie's bath. Maddie came in, I took off her diaper put her in the bath, squirted some bubbles in the water and Maddie was having a great time. Lately I have been thinking to myself, I need to take more bath pictures and film her in the bath. So I called Jordan to bring in the video camera, started taping..."Hey Maddie, say hi to the camera"..."Sit down Maddie (we have been having a hard time with that lately, sitting down in the bath), say hi, lets see that tummy (huge by the way, just after dinner)". She was just playing with toys (standing up still) bubbles shifted and then I see it...them... "JORDAN!!!" Yep, you guessed it, Maddie pooped in the tub!! Sick!! I thought this would never happen to me, because I knew I couldn't handle it, and I didn't very well, but I am just glad that Jordan was there to save me from doing the dirty work because I think I would have thrown up. Anyways, not a fun experience but hey I am glad I went with my instincts to film last night because now I have it all on tape! ...teenager=blackmail? You better be real nice to mommy from now on Maddie! :)

A Fun Weekend with MiMi!!

Judy came into town last weekend and we had a great time with her! She got to see our house and we had some fabulous dinners together. We went out to Fredricksburg, Texas on saturday and had fun looking at all the shops. Fun town, great food, lots of things to look at... all in all a great time! Maddie loved having Mimi here. On the way to the airport to pick her up we were teaching Maddie to say "Mimi" and needless to say it stuck! Now instead of "mama" it is sometimes "mimi" now. So fun. Thanks Judy, we loved having you and can't wait until next time!

Walking up and down Fredricksburg was hilarious because everyone would laugh or say how cute Maddie was because she was wearing her "Hollywood shades" (somebody really said that). I am just surprised she keeps them on but I have to admit they are adorable!

Mimi and Maddie!

Getting ice cream in one of the little shops.

Keeping Madison distracted by having her smell the flowers!

Mmmwaaahh!
