I got a kick out of this! This morning I was reading a magazine on the couch minding my own buisness while "I thought" Maddie was just reading books on the side of the couch where I couldn't see her. I even thought to myself, "Wow she is playing really well by herself" since it had been about 20 minutes of undisturbed silence. So I look over my shoulder, since it got quiet, and she had a pile of clothes on her lap, that were by her door to be put away, and her shorts on her head like a bakers hat! I started laughing and tried to discreetly get my camera but she moved before I could get a shot of her sitting there but I think these are just as good. She left the shorts on for a while and I could tell by the smile on her face she thought she was pretty clever. I love this age.

Don't you love those moments where you catch them doing somethings totally new all by themselves, that make you laugh too! You're right, this is a great age! It is so much fun watching them grow, learn, discover, and play.
