Pumpkin Pickin'

Usually you go to a pumpkin patch to PICK pumpkins....nope not us we go to get a couple of pictures and act like we are picking one out and leave. It's all about the pictures!

What a stud

Festive for Fall

Drake has been quite festive this last month getting ready for Halloween. We went to our ward's Trunk or Treat on Friday and showed off the little tiger. Although I don't know how pleased he was with the velcro under his chin. But as always he was such a good sport.

Colbie Caillat

So remember Jordan got us tickets to Colbie Caillat for my birthday? Well that was last week and it was such a fun night, great concert. We went with the Ferguson's and started out the night with a little Olive Garden then headed down to Stubb's. It was a little, all standing outdoor amphitheater...so by the time the 3 1/2 hour concert were over my back and legs were killing me but totally worth it. Howie Day opened for her and he was pretty impressive, awesome actually. I have to admit I have a slight crush on Howie Day. The picture is blurry but he is the one on the left. Pretty dang talented, look him up. After him the beautiful Colbie Caillat came on and put on a great show. I say beautiful because she really is gorgeous. Anyways such a fun concert, thanks Babe for such a fun night. Happy Birthday to me! :)

Birthday fun...Part 2

The day after my birthday Drake and I flew up to Salt Lake for the week to spend some time with family and friends. Right from the airport our good friends who used to live in Austin with us, the Barton's, picked us up and we got to spend some quality time together. Just like old times, we miss them alot. Since they had moved I had Drake and she had little Paisley so it was great to finally meet the little cutie pie! Jordan had strict instructions when I left to try to convince them to move back, I did my best! :) Miss you guys!

The day we got into Salt Lake it was about 80 degrees...that night a cold front came in and the next day was like 48 degrees! I was loving it. Such a nice change from our Texas heat. It never got above 70 the rest of the time. It actually felt like fall!
I was kind of a slacker when it came to taking pictures so these are the only ones I have!
We were trying to pose Drake but it was the sun was so bright he could hardly keep his eyes opened.

Go Coug's! We had to hit up the BYU bookstore. We did lots of shopping while we were there and hit (most of ) the staple food places...J-Dawgs, Rumbi, Zupas, Smoke House...delish.

It is always a blast hanging out with my Fam. My parents drove up and we all stayed with my Aunt and cousins which was great seeing them as well. They all love Drake so much, he was always entertained. The shopping in Utah is fabulous, I wish we had half of the boutiques and stores as they did!

Drake looked so cute in all of his new winter gear, to bad we have had to put it all away! We are still in the 90's.

My cute family, we really do all look alike. :)
What a fun trip, always goes by to fast, hate saying goodbye's but can't wait to see everyone in November! Thanks Mom and Dad.

Happy Birthday To Me

After asking why I haven't posted yet, I replied (slightly joking/wanting to see his response) to Jordan that I was waiting for my birthday post from him....blank look...."I'll go do it right now" as he starts walking to the office, to which I replied "No sorry it's totally after the fact!" So hence the delayed blogging...I was waiting to see if I was really going to get a birthday post. Apparently not (heavy sarcasm implied)

Aside from all of that, I had a wonderful 26th birthday. Jordan surprised me with taking the day off which is always a highlight to get my husband to myself all day. The Friday before (my bday was on a Monday) all of our friends went to Buca de Peppo with me to celebrate...fun times had by all. On my actual birthday I opened presents in the morning, went to a delicious lunch at Chuy's, got a new phone, and had a fun girl's night that evening. I had a great day! That next day as a gift from my parents I flew up to Utah to spend some time with my sistas, parents, cousins, Aunt, and friends (future post).

I had asked for 2 Colbie Caillat tickets for Jordan and I to go to. I don't know how thrilled he was getting these but I know it will be awesome.

So much love.

It is always guaranteed fun when we all go out. There was 18 of us!
