Our Dear Maddie

We wanted to post briefly to let everyone know we have received everyones emails, texts, cards, flowers, calls, and prayers most of all. We have felt everyones love for us and for Maddie. This has been a very trying time for our family, but we know she is up with her Heavenly Father and that she was too pure and innocent to live on this earth any more. We wanted to thank everyone for their love and support and know that Maddie will be missed.

The funeral will be held on Friday, August 8th. The viewing will begin at 9am and the service will take place at 10am. It will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8140 Racine Trail, Austin 78717.

Swimming Lessons!

Maddie and I just finished a two week session of "Mommy and Me" swimming lessons. She learned alot from it and is a pro at going under water. Granted, she is still in no shape to be swimming by herself but it was a great introduction of kicking, moving her arms, getting out of the pool by herself, floating on her back, going under water, and passing. We will definately be doing it again next year!

Before and After!

Before Nursery...

After Nursery...

Life just tuckers you out

Happy 4th of July!

We had a very relaxing, enjoyable 4th of July. We started it out by going to the Round Rock parade on Main St. and I wish you could see how many pictures I took of Maddie to A) get a good picture and B) show you how all over the place she was! Man I need a leash for this girl! Anyways so after the parade we went to the Barton's and had a great BBQ, let the kiddos nap, played the Wii, and then we headed off to the park to watch the fireworks. Then the next day we all went to the lake and had another great day! We are glad to have great friends to spend these holidays with when we are away from family! Although I was missing the Bundy Reunion!
Keeping track of Maddie, again!

I made this Jello/cheesecake dessert for the BBQ and I was pleasantly surprised! It was pretty delicious.

Doing poppers!

This was as good of a family picture as we were going to get! Tell me again how you get an 18 month old to hold still and smile... oh yeah you just don't!

These two were hilarious. They were definately feelin' the love!

Maddie was so cute watching the fireworks, she just kept pointing and was glued to the sky.

Tubing with Daddy!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!

What We've Been Up To...

A couple of weeks a go we had Jordan's cousin Wendy and her husband Derek come visit us for a week so they could house hunt since they are moving out here end of July! We had a great time with them and are excited for them to live so close by! While they were here we went to a local Rodeo and had a great time.
This is Maddie's friend Tate and they were so cute together holding hands walking around the arena.
Maddie loved all the horses around.

Face painting, jumping houses, cows, horses... what great entertainment for an 18 month old!

This was the next day at a birthday party and they had the coolest blow-up waterslide! Maddie (and Jordan) loved it!
