I had a great Mother's Day this year and hope all of you mom's out there did too! There is no other job in the world more rewarding than being a mother. Jordan made it special for me starting out with making strawberry/blackberry waffles in the morning...delish... then going into church he surprised me by walking up to the stand not mentioning before that he was speaking. He gave a wonderful talk and I wish his Mom was there to hear it. Then after church we got to talk to my sister!!! What a highlight. 2 months to go and she will be home...yay! While we were talking, Jord made a delicious dinner along with dessert. What a great husband, right. He knows how to spoil me. I love him. My present is in the mail... that will have to be a future post, but I am stoked to get it! All in all, it was a great day. What would have made it better would have been to have both of my children with me at the same time. Yes I know Maddie was probably spiritually there but I couldn't help think to have had them both in my arms giving me my Mother's day hug, both in the pictures, both in our bed when we watched Bolt together... but I have to say I wouldn't trade anything to have not had them as my children. I love being Maddie and Drake's mother, what an honor.

You are such a strong person Marlo. I am so proud of you. It is amazing being a mom and being able to hold and touch them all you want.
Happy mother's day Marlo! I am glad you had a special day!
