Monday's are my favorite day of the week for a variety of reasons...
- More Sleep! (Jordan changes Drake in the middle of the night and brings him to me to feed him since he has the day off. All the rest of the days it's me getting up, so I cherish those nights)
- Jordan's day off which right there makes it the best day!
- We always go out to eat for lunch (Always a highlight since going out to eat is one of my fav things to do)
- The day that marks another cherished week with sweet little Drake (5 weeks today!)
- The day we receive email from my fabulous sister Brittney who is serving in Albania! (3 months left!!! July 8th is the official day I get to put my arms around her and give her the biggest hug! Can't wait)
- And Girls Night!! Since January all of my girlfriends get together on Monday nights for a girls night without husbands and kids. It started out watching the Bachelor but now that it's over we still get together and do what girls do best... talk! Always a highlight of the week.
So many things to look forward to on Mondays. So today I am a very happy lady!

This is what most of our days look like. Not Monday but say Tuesday or Wednesday or the rest of the week? 
This little boy has my heart for sure. I look at him everyday with a stronger love for him.

marlo!! i am so happy to have found your blog. i think about you SO often and am so happy to see pics of your adorable baby boy!! i can't believe we live so close and haven't ever gotten together. when you're feeling up to an outing, i'd love to meet up for lunch sometime! then i can hold a REAL baby, since mine is already 5 months old and too huge!! :)

Ok, he is so cute. So much chub!!! And I love your Monday routine. Most people would rank Mondays at the bottom of the list of 'favorites' -- I love that it's just the opposite for you!

I agree...Mondays are my favorite too! Oh and eating out is definitely one of my favorite things to do. Brad doesn't get it, but it brings true happiness to my heart. Something about it not being my food makes it sooooo much yummier!
Drake is soooooo handsome! I have that same striped elephant outfit for my boys. I always loved how soft it was and the weird side snaps. It reminds me of when they were little itty bitty things :)
He is so cute. I love the picture of his hand under is chin!
Okay this is totally random but I brought Logan home in that elephant outfit. It was my very favorite outfit, and one that I will always cherish.... seeing it on baby Drake brought back those sweet memories of that great day....so Thanks for that. Drake also does the outfit PROUD!! He is ADORABLE and the newborn pics were AMAZING!!

i love how positive you are marlo! i also take a lot of joy in eating out, lol. i love not having to cook the food, to pick what ever I want to eat and not worry if everyone else will like (and eat) it, and just feel like i get out of the house once in a while! maybe i'll have to try and start a monday lunch tradition in our house too!
