Gone Way To Fast

You know when you look forward to something for so long, then the day finally comes and it's as good as you imagine but then gone way to fast...well that is how the last 2 1/2 weeks have been for us. My family came into town for a little vacay and it came and went way to fast but we had sooo much fun.

Drake loved Gram Tam from the first step she walked in the door.

He looked like this pretty much the whole 2 1/2 weeks.

It was a pretty chill time, especially while they were working on the patio. But we still kept entertained and had a lot of fun like this.

One of the days we went downtown and went kayaking. We have done this one time before and it was just as much fun the second time around! Except for the snake that was swimming right in front of me. Talk about freak out.

We also went bowling which is always a good time!

We stopped and saw Maddie on the way to the airport for Britt and Micah. The fountains were finally on and they caught Drake's eye right away. We stripped him down and he had a blast. It made me think that Maddie would have done the exact same. The fountains were one of the reasons we picked her spot in the cemetery...she absolutely loved water.

Such a fun trip. I miss them already. Luckily Brandy was able to stay 5 days more which was a blast. I love my family and especially love having them here in Texas!
