Remember this?...

The slab of concrete my Dad helped us pour in March? Well he's back!!! 2 weeks ago my fam came out to visit and the plan was to finish the roof over the patio. And that is exactly what they did. 5 straight days in the hot, humid June heat of Texas working away and we now have a beautiful extended patio. Awesome does not describe it! Here's is how it all went down.

After half the day at a lumber yard and trips to 2 different Home Depot's they were ready to start framing.

I think every day there was at least 2-4 trips made to Home Depot for more material but that's what happens right? Who knows. Brittney and I were assigned to stain the roof of the patio and Micah was a gem and volunteered as well, that is on more than just the roof. It was so stinkin' hot!

Drake got restless a couple of times being couped up inside but he did enjoy his little pool, and us girls did too!

Getting there...Jordan installed the fans and Dad finished up the decorative posts.

And voila! The finished product! They did such a great job. My Dad amazes me every time at how handy he is and what he can do. They worked hard, really hard, sun up till sun down and it shows. Big thanks to Dad and Micah, we really appreciate it.
