The Claus

This Christmas season was so fun with Drake because he learned who Santa Claus was and what Santa said. He would repeat "Ho, Ho, Ho" to anyone that would ask and whenever he saw a Santa anywhere. I mean we would be driving in the car and someone had a Santa in their yard and he would say "Ho, Ho, Ho", in the grocery stores, on a book, on the TV, even when on the radio someone said Santa and he started up his "Ho, Ho, Ho". It was hilarious, it would sometimes catch me off guard! So I knew we had to go see Santa and our days were starting to dwindle down so we went on Jordan's lunch break the week of Christmas. Can you say an hour long wait to see the big guy?!! So Jordan took Drake to get some lunch at the food court and run around the mall while I patiently waited in line. You never know if they are going to freak out or enjoy this experience. Maddie was a little younger than Drake when we took her and she just stared at him. So funny, but I had a good feeling for Drake. Especially since he piped up with the "Ho, Ho, Ho" right when we saw Santa to get in line. And we were right! He couldn't wait to sit in his lap. He just kept smiling at him, then look at us, then smile some more at him, he even gave him the "Ho, Ho, HO" speech and loved the whole experience! I loved seeing his delight, he didn't even need the candy cane bribe! Even though we had to pay $22 for two 5x7's, yep you heard it right (what a rip) it was totally worth it.
