Maddie's Birthday was on a Saturday this year and Jordan and I were able to go to the Temple in the morning thanks to the James'. It was a beautiful day and so lovely to be there together. After the temple we invited the James' to go to the cemetary with us. We love having anyone to go with us so it was special having them there with us.
For 4 years now we have gone downtown to see the Trail of Lights together and then get hot chocolate at a quaint little place right on the lake. Unfortunately Austin isn't having the Trail of Lights anymore due to cost but we still made the best of it! Drake on the other hand, in his one-track toddler mind, decided he didn't want to have anything to do with any of it unless it was on his OWN!!
It was a perfect day to keep busy and that is what we did. We were gone from 8:30 in the morning until 9 at night filled with great activities with great friends. I hope this tradition lasts for many more years to come!
