This is what I call my Dad... a handy man. When ever he comes into town Jordan and I always have a project for the poor guy BUT we know it will be done right and done well. So when he came and visited for Drake's birthday I had yet another "project" for him! Our $39 Ikea coffee table was on it's way out, totally unstable and just a piece of junk really. So I found out about a awesome website, ana-white.com. She has all kinds of step by step name brand furniture plans that you can build yourself and when I saw this plan the Handy man popped in my head. :) So we got started!
Within a day and a half it was done! All it needed was to be painted and wha-lah a good looking coffee table! So after my Dad left I took a little while to pick out the right paint but when I found it I got to work and it looks awesome.
And the finished result...
(I still need to get some hardware for the fake drawers)
This is why I picked this plan, for the great storage.
After how well this all went down I already have a couple more "projects" for the Handyman! I could have NEVER done it with out him, I learned alot and really enjoyed spending time with my Dad!
