Some of the ladies in my church got together and put on a little Easter egg hunt for the kids. It was Drake's first one so I was curious to see how he would do. I knew he would love it once he saw all of the other kids out there. So i prepped him a little telling him to look out at all the eggs and that he was going to go run and get them to which he agreed and seemed to understand. So this is Drake waiting to race out there...
And he definitely understood! He was off!

And then looking at all of his loot. He thought it was just great running and getting the eggs not knowing there were "treats" in them which made it even better! The rest of the day he was asking for treats. It was so cute watching him sprint out there and chase after those eggs! Success!
The next day, Saturday before Easter, we went to a little carnival and we saw the Easter Bunny! Drake went right up to him and was so excited to see him. He gave him a big hug and the rest of the time he just wanted to go search for that bunny!
They had the same petting zoo as the last carnival we went to, so Drake loved on all of the little animals again and then ended it with getting a balloon hat.
