Summer Vacay

At the end of June and into July we headed out to Cali and Las Vegas to spend some time with family. We started out in the cool Orange County and had alot of fun at the beach, the pool, going to the zoo, dinner with the Walburger's, and celebrating Father's Day.

For 4th of July weekend we headed up to the Arizona strip for the good ole Bundy Reunion! I hadn't been for a couple of years so I was really excited about going. You never know what the temp is going to be out there on the mountain and this year is was extremely HOT! Being pregnant with no A/C and having a 2 yr old running around was all I could take for a day and a half! Luckily I had Britt and Micah and my parents to help me out. But the Bundy Reunion is always a blast none the less!

We spent 4th of July and a couple of other days out on the lake. I love the lake. If anyone knows me, it's that I love the lake. Even though I couldn't do any activities on the lake I was loving just being out there on the water. Drake had a great time as well. He did a little tubing but other than that he was pretty content just riding on the boat.

Brandy was with Landry on his little family reunion in California over 4th of July and we got an exciting phone call that day that.....Landry proposed!!! We knew it was in the works but were so excited to hear that they were engaged!! We couldn't be happier for them and are excited to add another Brother in law to the family!! Come November 19th Brandy will be Mrs. Peterson!

Later that week we got to celebrate Brittney's Birthday!! For lunch we went to In-N-Out and Drake was a cheese ball the whole time, it was hilarious! He loved his In-N-Out hat! Some friends of Brittney's and Jordan and Mom went in-door go-cart racing and that night we all went to dinner. Drake unfortunately was in bed before she got to blow out her candles which he had been talking about all day. So the next morning we had a redo and he got to sing and blow out the candles with her. Now everytime he sees a cake he says "Happy Birthday to You!" and I will ask who's birthday is it and he will say "Brittney!" To cute.

We also celebrated my Dad's birthday the last day we were in Vegas but unfortunately I don't have any pics, I don't know how that worked out. But we had a fabulous 3 1/2 week vacation. Drake loves being able to spend time with Grandma and Pop Pop along with his Aunts and Uncles, and G.G. I love that we got to do so much. I got to spend some time with my girlfriends from high school, again no pic, but had a great time with them. Because we live so far away we cherish the times that we do get to spend with family and many happy memories were made!!!
